Inviting a New User
Superusers and users with the user:create permission can invite other users to access The Hub.
Navigate to Settings > Users and click Invite Users in the top right corner. The following dialog will open up
Select one of the two user types:
Internal users - (users within your organisation)
Guests - (external supply chain partners)
The following fields are available in the user invitation dialog:
Email address/es (required) | Multiple email addresses can be added by tab, enter or comma. |
User type (required) | Internal or guest user. Guest users will only be able to see the Transaction monitor. Specifically, transactions related to them. |
Trading partner (required) | When inviting a guest user, the trading partner dropdown will become visible. By selecting a trading partner for a guest user, you're restricting that user to only see transactions related to that trading partner. |
Groups (optional) | Multiple groups can be assigned to a user by tab, enter or comma. If the user type is internal they will inherit all permissions assigned to those groups. |
Enter the user's email address and select the user type from the options in the dropdown:
If the selected user type is "Internal", you will be able to assign the user to a user group. Learn more about user groups here.
If the selected user type is "Guest", you will be able to select the Trading partner the user belongs to:
Email invitation to the Hub
Invited users will receive an email inviting them to The Hub.
Note: Users will have 7 days to register. If they do not register in 7 days, another invitation will have to be sent out.
