Inviting a New User

Superusers and users with the user:create permission can invite other users to access The Hub.

  1. Navigate to Settings > Users and click Invite Users in the top right corner. The following dialog will open up

  2. Select one of the two user types:

    1. Internal users - (users within your organisation)

    2. Guests - (external supply chain partners)

The following fields are available in the user invitation dialog:

Email address/es (required)

Multiple email addresses can be added by tab, enter or comma.

User type (required)

Internal or guest user. Guest users will only be able to see the Transaction monitor. Specifically, transactions related to them.

Trading partner (required)

When inviting a guest user, the trading partner dropdown will become visible. By selecting a trading partner for a guest user, you're restricting that user to only see transactions related to that trading partner.

Groups (optional)

Multiple groups can be assigned to a user by tab, enter or comma. If the user type is internal they will inherit all permissions assigned to those groups.

Enter the user's email address and select the user type from the options in the dropdown:

If the selected user type is "Internal", you will be able to assign the user to a user group. Learn more about user groups here.

If the selected user type is "Guest", you will be able to select the Trading partner the user belongs to:

Email invitation to the Hub

Invited users will receive an email inviting them to The Hub.

Note: Users will have 7 days to register. If they do not register in 7 days, another invitation will have to be sent out.
