How bulk actions work

File Vault allows a user to organise files and folders individually as well as in bulk. Actions such as moving, deleting, uploading and downloading can be performed on multiple files at once.

To move, delete or download multiple files at once, hold the Shift key and left-click the files.

Note: At this time, folders cannot be downloaded - so bulk-selecting files with a folder will disable the download button.

Moving files and folders

Moving a file or folder can be done by holding left-click over an item and dragging it into a desired folder. The same can be done when more than one item is bulk selected, dragging them into a folder will move them there.

Files and folders can also be moved up a layer to the parent directory. This can be done by selecting one or more files/folders and using 'Move Up' in the bulk actions centre.

Organising File Vault access
